The Struggles on the Rock in Your Shoe
We all have rocks inside our shoes that really bother us. Literally speaking, if you happen to have even a tiny rock inside your shoe, you become uncomfortable, right? It even annoys you especially when you are in an event that you are not allowed to do unnecessary movements. The entire time, you are focused on how to get rid of the rock that you forgot that you are actually attending an important event. You’ll get more irritated once the event is done and you haven’t remembered anything because you are focused again with that tiny rock.
If you just look at this in a wider and more realistic perspective, you will learn that the rock really did make your life at that moment miserable. But, is it really the fault of the rock? Should you blame a lifeless object on what’s happening in your life?
You need to view the rock not as a negative factor in your life, rather, that rock actually gives meaning to your life. The rock inside your shoe is a perfect example of no matter how small a problem is, it is still a problem. Ignoring it will not lead you anywhere because it is stuck there not unless you remove it, right? But it doesn’t mean that you need to do it immediately like doing it during an important event. People will look at you weirdly and will just cause more issues and the blame will go the rock. There is always the right time to remove that tiny rock in your shoe. The right timing is always important in solving problems regardless of how big or small it is. You cannot force yourself to solve it even without thinking. Problems are there because solutions are also there. But to find the right solution, you need to analyze the problem first. Did you ever ask yourself how the rock got inside your shoe? You may have brought it yourself while walking barefoot. You may have placed your shoe in a place that might have a windy environment causing the rock to flow inside. There are a lot of factors to consider why the rock is inside your shoe but it is not the fault of the rock.
You shouldn’t put the blame on the rock. It is already there. All you have to do is to find a way to endure the uncomfortable feeling. Enduring it for hours is not bad. We need to endure pain no matter how painful it is because that is how we should face our lives. It doesn’t need strength but endurance. It doesn’t need knowledge but patience. We cannot control what will happen. We didn’t even expect that rock in your shoes but it is there and it will always be there not unless we remove it when the right time, comes. Patience and endurance come together. We should look this in a brighter perspective and just not a cause of uneasiness and annoyance in our lives.
